Inquiry

Social Entrepreneurship Heart

This year in inquiry students will focus on entrepreneurship and creating social change. During the first half of the year students will learn entrepreneurship business basics.  Topics that will be covered during the first half of the year include:  different types of entrepreneurships (nonprofit and for profit), business structure, economics, business communication (marketing and selling), and public speaking and presentations.

The second half of the year period will allow students to apply their understanding and knowledge of entrepreneurship and changemakers to real world problem solving. Through the  creation of  social change groups, students will research and develop ideas, create a product to market, and advocate and volunteer for social causes.

Through the  creation of social change groups,  students will further develop their problem-solving abilities, creativity, critical thinking skills, collaboration, and communication techniques.
