Advanced Art

Advanced Art is geared for students that have already taken Intro to Studio Art and are ready to advance their art skills.  Advanced Art is a year-long course that will be looking at the interests of students by working on projects that motivate, excite, and develop their love of learning.  In this course, students should be prepared to work collaboratively to create larger projects.  Individually students will be advancing their understanding of acrylic painting techniques and color theory, learning how to use a pottery wheel, working with wearable art using circuits, learning paper marbling and bookbinding, and advancing their understanding of watercolor.
