Hello and welcome to 2nd grade! My name is Van Douglas and I am thrilled to be your child's second grade teacher this year! I graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelors in Sociology and obtained my teaching credential from Cal State San Marcos. I have been teaching in this amazing school district for 16 years. I've taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. 

I am so excited to meet all of you. I am looking forward to all of the incredible learning and discovery that will take place this year!
