Hello families! Welcome to 3rd grade at Double Peak! Here's a little about me: I grew up in the Bay Area and moved to San Diego to attend SDSU after high school. I continued on to earn my Masters degree in Cross Cultural Education. My first three years of teaching were spent in Hemet teaching 2nd grade. After that, I moved to SMUSD to teach 4th grade at San Marcos Elementary School for 10 years. Then, for two years  I worked with teachers as an Instructional Coach/TOSA focusing on technology and math.  I decided to make some changes, and go back into the classroom, here at Double Peak! I cannot wait to begin my 20th year in education with your kiddos. Teaching children is my passion and truly brings me so much joy. I cannot wait to meet my new students and families and get the school year started!

My husband, daughter and I live in Encinitas. We love going to the beach, watching Padres games and spending time with family and friends. Leah, my daughter, is a fifth grader here at DPS. We are so excited to start a new year together!
