6 - 8: CJSF Information

CJSF Spring Membership Applications:

CJSF is a statewide Honor Society for students in grades 7 and 8 with above average grades. Double Peak students who are CJSF members for 3 semesters receive a CJSF sticker on their certificate at our 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony. 

Why join CJSF? The CJSF emphasizes high standards of scholarship and community service for California junior high school students. Founded in 1967, CJSF is part of CSF, the oldest scholarship institution in the state of California. Membership in CJSF/CSF is an excellent addition to future college applications and job resumes.

Spring membership is open to 7th and 8th grade students. Applications are only accepted during a two-week window February 2 - February 16. Applications will be available ONLY during this 2 week window, beginning on February 2. Students will find the Google Form in the 7th or 8th grade Google Classroom. They must complete and submit the online application no later than February 16 at 3pm. No late applications will be accepted. No exceptions. Students will not receive acknowledgement that their application was approved. They can compute their scores by following the directions on the application.

Students can complete the application on their own. No parent signature is needed. Applications must be submitted every semester he/she is eligible in order to become a member.
