CJSF Information

CJSF Fall Membership Applications:
CJSF is a statewide Honor Society for students in grades 7 and 8 with above average grades. Double Peak students who are CJSF members for 3 semesters receive a CJSF sticker on their certificate at our 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony. 

Fall membership is open to 8th grade students only. Applications are only accepted during a two-week window September 5 - September 19. Students must pick up, complete and return the application to the Registrar no later than September 19 at 3pm. No late applications will be accepted. No exceptions.

Students can complete the application on their own. No parent signature is needed. Applications must be submitted every semester he/she is eligible in order to become a member. 

Why join CJSF? The CJSF emphasizes high standards of scholarship and community service for California junior high school students. Founded in 1967, CJSF is part of CSF, the oldest scholarship institution in the state of California. Membership in CJSF/CSF is an excellent addition to future college applications and job resumes.

CJSF Spring Membership Applications:

Spring membership is open to both 7th and 8th grade students. Applications are only accepted during a two-week window February 6 - 20. Students must pick up, complete and return the application to the Registrar no later than February 20 at 3pm. No late applications will be accepted. No exceptions.
