My name is Samantha Bertrand.
I am so excited to be teaching second grade here at Double Peak School this year!
Last year, you may have found me upstairs teaching  our wonderful third graders. However, I am thrilled to be joining our incredible second graders this year!
I am from here in northern San Diego County and I have both my Bachelor’s and my Multisubject Teaching Credential from our neighbor California State University San Marcos. During that time had the opportunity to student teach here in the district.
I absolutely love to read and spent my summer reading as many new books as I could! But I am so excited to be wrapping up summer and coming back to DPS for another amazing school year.

I am looking forward to meeting each and every one of you and having a fantastic year together learning and growing!
