Welcome to Mrs. Anderson's 2nd Grade Classroom!
Hello and welcome to 2nd grade! I am so excited for the school year to begin and I look forward to meeting all of my students. Teaching children is my passion and I know we will have an amazing year having fun and learning together. This year will be my 29th year teaching, which 17 have been in the San Marcos Unified School District. During this time I have taught first, second, third, and sixth grade.
I am married to my husband Mitch for 27 years and have two sons, Jake (22) and Zach (21) who are both attending Arizona State University. When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, hanging out with friends, shopping, and going to the beach.
My education consists of earning a Bachelor of Science Degree with an emphasis in Mathematics from Kansas State University, a Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from MidAmerica Nazarene University, and an Administrative Credential from California State University San Marcos.
