Mrs. Jennifer Black

Welcome to the Double Peak Library, where we are developing leaders, one reader at a time!

I am Mrs. Black, the Library Media Tech and I am SO EXCITED to be a part of the Double Peak family! I can't wait to help our students discover a love of reading!

I live in Carlsbad with my husband and three kids;  twin boys in 11th grade, and a 9th grade daughter at San Marcos High School. I attended USC for both undergraduate and graduate school, and then worked in advertising for about 10 years before having kids.  After taking some time off to raise my children,  I  went back to work as a Library Media Tech Assistant at the Library at SEMS, and then opened the Double Peak Library in 2016.

In my spare time, I like to run, play trivia, watch movies, go to the beach, read (of course!) and just hang out with my family.
